Ludique
The exhibit is called “Ludic: spontaneous and undirected play”. There are 9 large panels which all are concentrating on composition, color and form. Embracing the playfulness that is always present in my work and all the more evident in this new body of work. Making play the focal point for this exhibit.
For years I have saved a tear sheet from a french magazine from my days as a textile design student in Paris, France in the 80’s. It depicts this wonderful modern ballet with incredible costumes that seem like “bon bons” or from a Fellini film.
